REFEREES WANTED!

Officiate adult soccer games in a safe, fun, and positive environment. The AYSO way.

Do you love soccer? Want to earn some extra money? Are you ready to take the next step and referee in an adult league? Are you already refereeing matches in other cities and would love the chance to referee close to home? Whatever your reason, we’d like to encourage you to apply to be a referee for our Adult League.

Get paid and be supported by an adult league staff that will enforce an absolute zero tolerance policy for any verbal or physical abuse towards referees. $30 per referee per game. 1 referee for short sided games, 2 referees for full games. Paid at the end of each match.

Also, it would help us out, as WE NEED REFS. Refs will be especially needed in the fall, when both youth and adult leagues are going strong, so sign up NOW! Here’s how:

  • Contact us here
  • Let us know your background in refereeing soccer, your certifications, experience, and any references. Our AYSO Adult League Referee Administrators will review your request and get in touch with you.
  • Done! That’s it! We can’t promise that you’ll start refereeing adult games right away, but we’ll help you get to that point.

Refereeing really is a great thing for those of us who love the game. Refereeing allows you to help others learn the sport, and it also helps you learn the sport better. Quick! when is a free kick direct or indirect? If you were a ref, you’d know that.

And for those of us who need ulterior motives, the pay is surprisingly good for a couple of hours work, plus you get to pick and choose your own hours. Not many jobs offer that, do they?
